Offline updates from microSD are documented on the A1 wiki, and Handy can install an older hosted package while Bambu still offers it. Official notes for 01.08.01.00 say an offline jump from 01.04.00.00 or older can garble on-screen text — run the offline update a second time, or connect the printer to the network. Notes around the 01.07 releases say an offline update from 01.06.00.00 or older fails while an AMS, AMS 2 Pro, or AMS HT is connected. Disconnect those, or update online.
Tell the next A1 owner whether 01.08.00.00 was fine, or what broke. This is stored with the site, not sent to Bambu.
